Glass Igloo, Main Lodge and Sleeping Cabin

The modern Glass Igloo lies on the Ounasjoki riverbank, a few quick steps from the Main Lodge. The igloo has a double bed and a composting eco-toilet.

The mobile unit can be moved to make the best of seasonal changes in nature: during summer and autumn, the igloo floats on the small Ollero pond and is accessed by a rowing boat. You can swim from your private floating deck, go paddleboarding along the river or take a walk in the arctic forest.
There is no better place to experience autumn foliage than the Glass Igloo. And of course, the arctic winter has its icy magic with starry skies and the Northern Lights.

The Main Lodge comes with a well-equipped kitchen, a wide dining table, a lounge with a fireplace, a bathroom and a shower. The lounge area in the Main Lodge is perfect for relaxing by the fireplace after enjoying the smoke sauna. Please note: to access the bathroom and shower, you need to take a couple of steps outside on the veranda.

Sleeping Cabin is quiet and cosy comfort for a good night’s sleep. Sleep tight inside the thick log walls and wake up refreshed for a bright new day. Four people sleep comfortably in the Sleeping Cabin and its two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms comes with a double bed and the other with a big bunk bed. Both rooms have their unique features and characteristics, and the building’s timber walls and plank floors and ceilings guarantee top quality air inside. Kindly note: the other bedroom is up on a loft and may not be suitable for guests with physical disabilities. The Sleeping Cabin has an eco-toilet.

Ollero Eco Lodge sleeps 6 people (8 with extra beds) in a quiet location just outside the city.
